The products we sell and install will make you happy. We're so sure of it that we offer a 30 day period (from date of shipment) to listen to and enjoy the products you've purchased. If you're not happy, return the product in like new condition, and we'll issue a full refund (less shipping & handling). Some conditions apply. See below.
New items and installed items in "like-new" condition may be returned within 30 days from the date of shipment for a full refund, less original and return shipping costs. However, tool kits and sound deadening packs are not eligible for return.
Defective items may be returned in "like-new" condition for a full refund within 90 days. Some restrictions apply -- see Warranty Coverage below.
Please note we may charge a restocking fee at our discretion for worn, missing, or damaged components, parts, and/or packaging. It is the customer's responsibility to insure all items are returned in good condition; items damaged in shipping back to BSW will be repaired or replaced at customer's expense.
ALL returns require authorization. Please DO NOT return goods without first contacting us or you WILL NOT receive credit; we will refuse items returned without authorization and no refund will be issued. We may also bill you for return shipping. If you'd like to return something, simply contact us for return authorization!
For all return types, we will issue a Return Authorization (RA). If your return is not received within 20 days of the date we send the RA, we will refuse your return and send the item back to you at your expense.
Returns and refunds may take up to 15 business days to process. In all cases, shipping is non-refundable, and all shipping costs are paid by the customer, including international sales.
Warranty periods vary from product to product and are listed on each product description on our website, but are generally as follows:
Defective items may be returned within 90 days from the date of shipment for a full refund, excluding shipping costs.
Defective items are tested when we receive them. If an item is returned as defective for refund within 30 days from the date of shipment and is determined to be in normal working condition, we will treat the item as a used or installed return and issue a refund less original and return shipping costs and, rarely, any applicable restocking fees for missing components / parts.
If an item is returned as defective for refund after 30 days from the date of shipment and is determined to be in normal working condition, we will return the item to you at your expense. We do not accept returns for working products after 30 days from the date of purchase.
During a product's warranty period, if an item is determined to be defective, we will repair or replace them item at no cost. In order to do so, we must first receive and test the item in question -- no advance replacements will be sent unless paid for in advance. In addition, if an item has been discontinued and we can no longer repair or replace the item, we will issue a refund for the defective part or portion of the item, up to the full purchase price of the item.
Testing and repair or replacement of defective items may take up to 30 business days to process. In all cases, shipping is non-refundable, and all shipping costs are paid by the customer, including international sales.
Fitment & Compatibility: Our products are designed for U.S. specification vehicles. Because we do not have access to vehicles designed for other markets, our products may not be compatible with your vehicle or installation processes may vary in some way (wire color, etc.). We are happy to make every reasonable effort to assist with installation and support our products for our international customers, but in some cases we may be unable to provide assistance for installation, etc.
Duties & Taxes: Many countries may tax goods entering their country and our shipping carrier may charge brokerage fees. In all instances, the customer is responsible for payment of any applicable taxes, duties, and brokerage associated with the import of products into his or her country. Please check with the appropriate authorities to determine what, if any, taxes or duties are applicable for a given purchase and be prepared to pay those fees.
Warranty coverage: We will happily support and cover under warranty any defective products. However, you will be responsible for any and all shipping fees to and from BSW for ANY reason, including, but not limited to, returns, exchanges, repairs, and replacements.
In stock purchases ship within 1-2 business days from the time of purchase regardless of shipping method chosen. (For example, if you select UPS Standard Overnight, your order will arrive in 1-2 + 1 business days, so 1-3 business days.). If you need your order by a specific date, we STRONGLY encourange you to call to insure we can deliver as requested.
Most backorders are filled within 2-5 weeks.* However, it may take longer for backordered items to be "In Stock" -- that's because we often receive shipments that are enough to fill some backorders, but not enough for all of them. (For example, if there are 100 orders waiting to be filled, and we receive 90 units, we can fill all but 10, but the item is still "backordered." If we receive 120, then we have 20 extra and the item becomes "In Stock").
Given our high volume of orders, we cannot always contact each individual customer with exact timeframes for shipment of their order. While we make our best effort to keep each customer informed of their order's status, we cannot guarantee we will notify you if your order is in some way delayed. We will in all cases send e-mail notification when your order has shipped.
*This is an estimate only, not a guarantee. We are unable to provide a specific shipping date for backordered products. We have found that estimates from our manufacturers are sometimes inaccurate due to unforseen circumstances (customs problems, raw materials shortages, etc.) We will notify you when your order ships. You can cancel your order at any time for a full refund.
Items Damaged in Shipping / Missing Items
Products damaged in shipping or having items missing from the packaging must be reported to BSW within 72 hours of delivery BY TELEPHONE ONLY. These are the rules given to us by our delivery companies. Therefore, be prepared to examine your order within 48 hours of delivery to make sure it is complete and undamaged.
Reports after 72 hours cannot have claims for damage or loss reliably filed against them and the best we may be able to do for you is to repair the items at your cost for parts, labor and shipping, if repair is possible.
After 72 hours, missing items must be purchased. Damage or lost package claims are filed through the freight company and we must follow their process. We will need clear pictures of the damaged items before we can process any claims.
Limitation of Our Liability
The sole obligation of Bavarian Soundwerks, (including but not limited to its owners, operators, contractors, consultants, employees, etc.), at our discretion, shall be repair, replacement, or refund of item(s) sold. Bavarian Soundwerks will not be responsible or liable for labor, or incidental or consequential damage of any kind. In no event shall our liability exceed the cost of the goods.
The purchaser of any part releases the manufacturer of the part and Bavarian Soundwerks, LLC from all liabilities pertaining to the use of the part. The purchaser recognizes that any alteration or modification to any motor vehicle may increase the risk of injury or accident and may render the vehicle illegal for use on public roads and highways. Use at your own risk.
